I’ve always loved October. I don’t even know why, but every time October comes, I feel warm. In its own way, October has always brought merry to me.
Maybe it’s because my birthday is in October, which only means one thing: lots of presents! Another reason, maybe it’s because it has Halloween in the end of the month. I can’t forget my first Halloween, when I dressed in a dementor costume and walked around the neighborhood, knocked and shouted “Trick or treaaaat!” to any doors that had a pumpkin sign on it. Lots of chocolates and sweets (a little too much, maybe, that my mom had to gave some to my gardener and kept the rest in the highest cabinet in the kitchen, and we still didn’t run out of candies for months), which only means one thing for a kid: heaven. Ah, I wish life was as fun as that.
October has done me good, and for the upcoming years, I keep wishing that it will be more awesome than it already has. For this October, I wish nothing but the good. For the next October, there’s only one hope:
I guess I’ll always try to find more reasons to love October.
