The First Half of 2015

1st half of 2015

It’s already the second half of 2015, and I can’t say I’m looking forward to it. The first half was filled with so much nothingness and despair, so it’s a bit hard for me to believe that the second half will be better.

I recently found out, the stronger you feel about something, the harder it is to write about it. Not in all cases, but in some.

Because no words could appropriately describe some feelings. Because the established words, when used either alone or paired with others, seems to only lessen the immensity of the emotions.

And I, for once, am lost. I so desperately want to explain those feelings, but something that huge, strong, and gripping can’t be explained wholly.

If there’s one thing the year of 2015 has taught me, it’s this: the absence of hope is what kills a person, more than anything.
