There’s this time when you know that you’ve crossed the line you drew yourself, but something in you tells you to keep going instead of going back, because you need to know what lies on the other side of the line.
I remember what Dinoy said to me, “It’s better to regret the things you do than to regret the things you don’t do.” I cannot agree more. I don’t want to wake up ten or twenty years from now, look back and say to myself, ‘I wish I’d done that.’ Even if I screw things up, hopefully things will get better in the meantime, and ten years from now, I’ll look back and smile when I remember about the time I found the courage I never thought I had.
It’s like the quote says,
It’s better to cross the line and suffer the consequences than to just stare at that line for the rest of your life.
So then, I cross the line.
