It’s no secret that I like to take pictures of bright things when I travel. Another thing I like to capture is people. Obviously, this takes much more effort. For one thing, people are constantly moving. In my early camera days, I had so many blurry pictures of the moving objects. When I got the setting right, usually the moment had gone. I’m better now than those early days, but it’s still harder than taking pictures of, say, walls. The other reason, it’s really difficult to be inconspicuous. I only have a camera with a standard lens, and usually people would realize if I stand to close. And also, I actually don’t feel really comfortable about taking candid pictures of people. The only reason why I still do it is it sometimes makes great stories (yes, my mind is crazy that way. I see people and my brain starts formulating a story).
So here’s six pictures I took here and there, without stories. Maybe someday there will be stories coming from these pictures.

I love taking pictures of people too!! It is kind of cheeky and I shouldn’t but I do it anyway. 🙁 on the other hand I’d hate it if someone was to take a picture of me.
April 20, 2015 at 3:47 pmI feel exactly the same! That’s why I don’t do it that often, but sometimes I just can’t help it 🙁
