I have known my best friend Ocha for years. We were classmates in college, and the amount of things we’ve shared is just ridiculous. Late night conversations, struggle and tears that came with college life, dark secrets, and so forth. If there’s one thing I’m grateful about my course, it’s how it brought me to the most wonderful people in my life, and she’s one of them.
I can’t quite pinpoint the exact time when we started to grow close, but by the time we graduated, we were inseparable. We often talked about how I’d take her engagement photos if she was getting married, but to my dismay, that happened when I was in Southampton. Talk about bad timing.
So when she got pregnant, we talked about doing a photoshoot again — maternity photoshoot this time — and last week, it finally happened!
Fair warning, you’re about to be bombarded with a lot of pictures.
Ocha met her husband in college, and it feels like it was yesterday Ocha told me they started dating, and now they’re expecting their first child! How time flies.
A little bit about them, shortly after they got married, Dito moved to Italy for work, before coming back to Indonesia in 2015. As I wanted to capture their moments and story, I thought it would be nice to incorporate this in the photoshoot. Who knows, maybe the baby will follow his/her father’s step and work in Italy someday. 😉
And Ocha, she’s quite possibly the most beautiful/glowing pregnant lady I’ve seen.
Anyone could see how very much in love they are, which is so palpable it was easy to capture it! All those stolen glances and sweet gestures, you’ll see what I mean.
And it seems that I still couldn’t get over of my obsession with distinctive walls.
It was such a pleasure to do the photoshoot with them, and I can’t thank them enough for letting me capture their special moment.
Now I can’t wait to meet the baby!
