Hi, I’m Dixie. This little slice of the web mainly consists of my daily life, with a bit of photos I took here and there. I sometimes travel (I wrote more about that in here) and wander around. I love watching people and I usually write stories based on these people. I also like taking pictures of totally random things that catch my eyes (that could be something bright, beautiful, strange, or something with much emotions).
I grew up in a little town in South Celebes before moving south to Sumbawa, where I left my heart. I moved to Bandung 5 years later, and for some reason I still can’t move on from this city. I then moved to Southampton for a little over a year, and now I’m living in the Gothenburg, Sweden.
This blog started on a rainy day in 2011 as a way to document my life (hence the name!). Since then, this blog has archived many stories of ups and downs, tears and triumphs, love and broken heart, and also travel tales and some wild imaginations.
