Growing up in small towns for the first 15 years of my life, I’ve never been fond of big cities. There’s something about them that makes me feel on edge. Also, I get grouchy in crowded places.
London is no exception. In all fairness, it’s a vibrant city with iconic landmarks that could leave you in awe at the first glance. But for me, I always sighed in relief when I stepped into the coach/train that would brought me out of London.
I’ve been to London a few times, and in those occasions, I snapped pictures here and there, capturing the rush, the iconic things, the cliché, and also unduly objects. And so, the third part of this series — ‘some things along the way’ — is themed London.
Morning commute, Victoria Station
London rush, Leicester Square
Mismatch, South Kensington
Little lights, Oxford Street
Underground, Hyde Park
London is not my favorite city. Far from it. But there are lots of good memories there which never fail to make me smile whenever I remember about London and its magnificence, despite all those irritating things.
That being said, I don’t mind if someone bought me a ticket to London.
