So it’s been 3 years since we were together, and 2 years since we stopped working together.
With us being scattered in different cities (and different islands), it’s getting harder and harder to meet and do something together. I really miss these guys so much, and I’m not gonna lie here, sometimes I miss the hectic days (somewhere between April 2011 and March 2012). But I guess this is the time when I’m gonna use the phrase, “Indah untuk dikenang, tapi tidak untuk diulang.”
So this is our annual hectic day, because, let’s face it, none of us will make it until it’s almost too late. We really slave ourselves in the injury time. Before that? Nah. And this happens every year. With Iti (the head chef AND the kitchen commander of our cooking ritual) being far far away (in Rote Ndao!) this year, we were kinda lost. Thank God Iti came to the rescue and guided us (thank you Iti!). So apart from the too-salty garlic bread (so sorry guys, I swear I’ve never intended to get married soon), I think we were okay.
And yes, we’re still together.
PS: Qinan, I’m sorry for making you take these photos. After all, you used to manage this kinda thing 😉
